In honor of our esteemed founder Dr.Arthit Ourairat, the Academic Excellence Scholarship Programme aims to identify and uplift exceptional highschool students who showcase outstanding academic performance and promise. This programme serves as a launchpad to success for its recipients, offering unique university pathways tailored to individual aspirations, thus enabling them to pursue dreams.

Scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are now OPEN

 

Purpose:
  • To maintain a high standard of academic excellence by enrolling exceptional students from around the world
  • To provide existing students with an incentive to do well in the school, and to recognise achievement in a tangible manner
  • To contribute to the local community by providing opportunities for outstanding students from Bangkok schools

 

Internal Academic

All internal students are automatically entered for these.

Orange Riband

This is awarded to the top-performing IGCSE student each year.

Number of awards: One

Nature of the Award: Full tuition fees for one academic year. (Or 50% for two years of the A level program)

Minimum qualifications: 6 A* in the June examinations.

Blue Riband – Year 13 (M6)
  • Awarded for outstanding success at AS-Level.
  • Number of awards : 2
  • Nature of award: 50% reduction in tuition for one year.
  • Minimum qualifications:
    • Top 2 performers who achieve at least 3 A grades in the October 2024 AS-Level examinations

Must take a minimum of 3 A-Level subjects in the Year 13 October Examinations.

 

 

External Academic

Dr. Arthit World Academic Scholarships
SBS Schools are proud to announce the prestigious Dr. Arthit World Academic Scholarships, open to exceptional students with the potential to excel academically and make a meaningful impact in our community. These scholarships are available for entry into A Levels and are designed to recognize academic excellence and leadership potential.
Criteria for Selection:
To be considered for the Dr. Arthit World Academic Scholarship, applicants are required to submit a portfolio as part of the application process. Full Portfolio Requirements can be found here.
Shortlisted applicants will also be invited to attend an interview as part of the selection process.

Scholarship Details
The Dr. Arthit World Academic Scholarship is awarded based on outstanding academic achievement, a high level of English proficiency, and the student’s potential to demonstrate leadership and make a positive contribution to the SBS community. The scholarship covers tuition fees in accordance with the scholarship award. Please note that travel expenses, external examination fees, school uniforms, laptops, and other personal expenses are not included.
