Frequently asked questions

Are meals included in the fees?

No. Meals are charged each term in addition to tuition. See School meals under Additional services for the amount for each year group.

How is the student deposit refunded?

The THB 50,000 student deposit provides security against sudden withdrawals during the academic year. It can be refunded at the parent or guardian’s request when the student’s withdrawal is notified one academic term in advance, or on Mathayom 6 (Year 13) graduation from SBS Rangsit.

Parents should notify the school in writing and complete an exit interview one academic term in advance. Failure to do so, or resigning in a time frame of less than one academic term, will result in the student deposit being voided.

To request a refund, submit the Refund Form in person or by email to [email protected]. Refunds are processed after Finance has received confirmation from the Registrar that the exit interview has taken place.

What is the security deposit for?

The THB 5,000 security deposit assures the return of all instructional materials provided by SBS Rangsit (such as textbooks, workbooks, resource books, iPads and science lab materials) in satisfactory condition, covers any cost from damage to school property, and assures payment of fees and other charges, including ECAs, camps and late payment fees or interest.

It can be refunded at the parent or guardian’s request on the student’s withdrawal, after deducting any damages and unpaid fees. Accounts in delinquent status will still be subject to debt recovery legal action.

Is there a deposit for boarding?

Yes. The THB 10,000 dormitory deposit covers any cost from damage to school property and assures payment of fees and other charges, including late payment fees or interest. It can be refunded on the student’s withdrawal after deducting any damages and unpaid fees.

How long do I have to claim a deposit?

A deposit can be returned only if claimed within one year of the student’s last day at school, providing all other terms and conditions are met. Deposits do not bear any interest.

Can discounts be combined?

No. All discounts (including scholarships) must be strictly validated, and full payment of fees and charges made before the due date. Cumulative discounts and promotions are not allowed, so parents should confirm the one discount or promotion they wish to have applied on their invoices.
