SBS implements a Colour House System, designed to build unity, community, and a positive school spirit through common events and activities such as Sports Day, Academic Competitions, Fundraising and Community Outreach initiatives. The Colour House system is a great way for the community to get to know each other, have fun, and be engaged in aspects of important school life that go beyond academics.
There are 4 main themes for the Colour Houses, each one named to represent qualities, attributes, and values we hold dear at SBS. All academic staff and students are assigned to a house, with brothers and sisters being part of the same house. Everyone stays in the same house throughout their time at SBS. The Colour House system allows for the building of relationships across different grade levels and provides a platform for students to express themselves and explore leadership opportunities.
